Isaac is "cramming" for his kindergarten progress testing right now. So we get this list from school of all of the things Isaac should know by now in order to meet expectations. He is right on with the reading , he totally gets math and graphs and measuring and patterns, our struggle is with counting. He knows his numbers, he recognizes and writes them with no problem. He can even count by 10s- but when he recites the numbers in order he skips number 16 and 17 EVERY time. He gets in such a hurry! The worst part is that missing 16 and 17 makes him totally lose track and start spewing all sorts of random numbers. However if I go through it with him and stop him to correct 15-16-17-18... he keeps going with no problem. He has to get to 75 by next week. Wish me luck. He gets bored fast!

Max has a new thing. Punching. Not enough to hurt- but all the same... it goes along with his new favorite thing to say: "I wanna kick butt" (said in a low growling voice and a fierce scowl planted on his face). Now I am not a fan of this phrase and was unsure of where it came from until I payed a little closer attention to "Kung Fu Panda" the other day. It was cute the first few times (you are probably snickering as you read this) but I am totally over it at this point.

Matt's employer is staying afloat at this point. His department was shut down and he was moved to another department rather than being laid off and has recently begun working on a product that uses MSN Mobile. He is pretty stoked of course. The man loves working with gadgets!

How did Isaac do on his counting test?? I love the tired sleeping one of Max... so cute!!!
